Haddon estate

The Peacock at Rowsley. To visit the Estate and enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer, we have a very comfortable hotel, The Peacock at Rowsley.

Originally built as a manor house for the Steward of the Earl of Rutland in the 17th Century, it later became a dower house for the family before becoming a hotel in the 1820s.  Re-acquired by the family in 2001, it has been awarded three red AA stars. This is the AA's "supreme accolade, used to recognise hotels that stand out as the very best, regardless of size or style".
